Below are some tips and guidelines on some equipment , among other information

Humidifiers

There are three important benefits to increasing the humidity levels in your home during the winter.
Your skin and sinuses won’t dry out as quickly to help you stay more comfortable. It also protects the fine wood furnishings, flooring and artwork inside your home by preventing the air from drying out too much. Finally, raising the humidity level slightly makes you feel a little warmer without actually turning up the temperature.

Dehumidifier

If you have central air conditioning, the HVAC will naturally lower your humidity levels. Just like humidifiers, there are also three main benefits to using dehumidifiers. Reduced humidity levels help you prevent problems with mold and mildew. Musty odors fade as the air dries out, and the air will feel cooler. You’ll also avoid problems with surfaces sweating and condensation on pipes.

Thermostats

Programmable thermostats allow you to set different temperatures for different periods during the day. Some thermostats can hold only 24 hours of programming. Other thermostats allow for a different program every day of the week. The actual way the thermostat is programmed is different for each model.
A programmable thermostat will automatically adjust the temperature based on the settings for the time of day. Most modern programmable thermostats we install are digital. A few even have wireless capabilities so that it is possible to program or adjust the thermostat through an app, computer or other device.

Air Conditioning

Air handlers are critical in order for an air conditioning system to be truly effective. They are necessary because of several functions that they perform for the home. The first is that they are a huge part of the circulation of the air. The air handler contains the fan that pushes the air throughout the house in a series of ducts that are connected to it.
It also has sound attenuators, which are designed to make the air conditioning system quieter so that it does not disturb the rest of the household. Air handlers humidify the air, causing it to feel warmer when the air would otherwise be uncomfortably cold. Finally, air handlers have mixing chambers with filters that will purify the air before it reaches the rest of the house and keep everyone who breathes it as healthy as possible.
